Narrative
Although LOOM X was the first Bank of Ghana concept that fully crystallized in my mind, it is the second I attempted. The challenge here was to make a complex surreal concept easy to comprehend. I have long believed that our insistence in doing things in the same way our forefathers did is the reason we’re unprogressively stuck in time.
The Kente loom is a perfect example, only this time a weaver sat in an automatic loom, armed with a game console to make the computer whip out garments on command. The model illustrating this experience would wear a long flowing gown with the evolving time Adinkra symbol. Such contraptions can only be created when it is fashioned in our minds.
