Narrative
When I returned to watercolour painting after a 15year hiatus, I had studied more about my spirit gorillas than when I was in university. Although their fierce outbursts still excite me, I admire the maturity of much older gorillas. HABITAT captures the largest living primate; that confident self-composed gorilla in a luscious green forest with want for nothing, except peace.
